Dr. Brian Hoffman, DMD, MPH, DICOI, brings exceptional expertise to Springfield after 19 years of award-winning practice. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Master of Public Health, later becoming a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Hoffman earned his Bachelor Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from The Ohio State University, he then went on to earn his Master Degree in Epidemiology from the Ohio State University, College of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Hoffman was one of only 2 students to ever complete the rigorous Epidemiological curriculum in one-year, versus the traditional 2-year program awarded to most students. Finally, Dr. Hoffman went to New England to study Dentistry, where he earned his Doctoral Degree from the prestigious Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Hoffman chose dentistry because he wanted to blend medicine and art in a private practice setting, bringing joy through creating solutions for his patients’ problems. His passion for treating complex cases has earned him recognition as one of the best dentists in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida. Dr. Hoffman is a certified Invisalign provider and CEREC expert, completing 30-100 continuing education credits annually.
He’s also involved in charitable work through Project Christmas Smile and Distinctive Dental Solutions Dental Days. Outside the office, Dr. Hoffman enjoys hiking, lake life, and exploring Missouri. Most patients are surprised to learn he actually quit medical school to become a dentist – a decision that has allowed him to help thousands achieve healthier, more beautiful smiles.
Hi, I’m Peggy! As the Practice Manager at Hoffman | Stone Advanced General & Implant Dentistry, I have a passion for helping people and creating a positive experience for both our patients and team. I love building relationships with our patients and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and welcomed from the moment they walk through our doors.
Dentistry has been a rewarding part of my life for many years, and I truly enjoy helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. As a proud mom, I understand how important family, trust, and genuine care are, and I strive to bring those values into our practice every day.
When I’m not at the office, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, continuing my education in business management, or looking for new ways to grow both personally and professionally.
I'm someone who finds joy in both creativity and connection - whether it's nurturing a garden, experimenting in the kitchen, or getting lost in a new city. Outside of work, you'll often find me knitting, exploring art, or on the hunt for a great meal. I believe in the power of curiosity, craft, and good conversation, and I bring that same spirit into everything I do.
I genuinely love what I do - working in the dental field is more than just a job for me; it's a passion (yes, I'm that person who gets excited about teeth}. Outside the office, I enjoy a well-balanced life of adventure and relaxation - whether I'm kayak fishing, crocheting something cozy, or battling it out in Fortnite. I share my days with an amazing significant other, PJ, and our Shih Poo, Bear, who definitely runs the household. Life's busy, a little messy, and absolutely wonderful - just like a good flossing routine.
I've had a combined 31 years in this beloved dental field as a hygienist, as well as a dental assistant, making all my patients feel important and educated about their periodontal and dental health. I truly love the entire dental profession, but especially my patients! During my off time, I spend time with my daughter and family. I also love to travel abroad.
